Eventixa is a powerful WordPress plugin designed to help you create, manage, and publish events with ease. Whether you are hosting in-person, virtual, or hybrid events, Eventin provides a simple, step-by-step workflow to set up your event, manage tickets, schedule sessions, and customize the attendee experience. You can create events manually, use AI assistance, or follow the onboarding guide, making it flexible for any workflow.
Creating an event in Eventixa is quick and straightforward. This guide walks you through all the essential settings required to publish your first event.
Step 1: Add a New Event
- Go to Eventixa → Events.
- Click Add New Event.
This opens the Event Editor where you can configure every aspect of your event.

Step 2: Basic Information
Enter the basic information about your event.
- Event Title
- Event Description
- Featured Image
The featured image will be displayed throughout your website, including event listings and the single event page.

Step 3: Date & Time
Set when your event starts and ends.
Configure:
- Start Date
- Start Time
- End Date
- End Time
- All-Day Event (optional)
- Time Zone
Choose accurate dates and times so attendees always see the correct schedule.

Step 4: Event Color
Assign a color to your event.
The selected color is used throughout Eventixa to help visually distinguish events in supported layouts such as the Calendar View.

Step 5: Categories
Categories help organize your events and make them easier for visitors to browse and filter.
Select an existing category or create a new one while editing your event.
Examples include:
- Conference
- Workshop
- Meetup
- Webinar
- Festival

Step 6: Venue
Choose where the event will take place.
You can:
- Select an existing venue
- Create a new venue
Venue information may include:
- Venue Name
- Address
- Google Maps Location

Step 7: Organizer
Assign the organizer responsible for the event.
You can either:
- Select an existing organizer
- Create a new organizer
Organizer details can include contact information, website, and description.

Step 8: Tickets
Add one or more ticket types for your event.
You can create:
- Free Tickets
- Paid Tickets
Each ticket can have its own:
- Name
- Price
- Quantity
- Sale Start Date
- Sale End Date

Step 9: Publish Your Event
After reviewing all the information:
- Click Publish.
- Visit the event page to verify everything is displayed correctly.
Your event is now live and ready for bookings.
Tips
- Use a descriptive event title.
- Upload a high-quality featured image.
- Double-check the event date and time before publishing.
- Assign categories to improve event discovery.
- Reuse existing venues and organizers whenever possible.
