Ticket Settings

Ticket Settings allow you to customize how each ticket behaves. From ticket visibility and booking limits to attendee information and sale options, these settings help you create a smooth booking experience for your attendees.

Access Ticket Settings

To configure ticket settings:

  1. Go to Eventixa → Events.
  2. Create a new event or edit an existing one.
  3. Scroll to the Tickets & RSVP section.
  4. Create a new ticket or edit an existing ticket.
  5. Expand the Ticket Settings panel.

Ticket Name

Every ticket should have a unique and descriptive name.

Examples include:

  • General Admission
  • VIP Pass
  • Early Bird
  • Student Ticket

A clear ticket name helps attendees choose the correct option during booking.

Ticket Description

Add a short description to explain what the ticket includes.

For example:

  • Access to all sessions
  • Complimentary refreshments
  • VIP seating
  • Exclusive event merchandise

This information is displayed to attendees during the booking process.

Ticket Visibility

You can control whether a ticket is displayed on the event page.

Options include:

  • Visible – The ticket is available for attendees.
  • Hidden – The ticket is not shown on the frontend.

Hidden tickets are useful for private registrations or invitation-only events.

Booking Limits

Control how many tickets a customer can select in a single booking.

Available options include:

  • Minimum Tickets Per Booking
  • Maximum Tickets Per Booking

These limits help prevent accidental or excessive ticket purchases.

Ticket Availability

Configure when the ticket is available for booking.

Settings include:

  • Sale Start Date & Time
  • Sale End Date & Time
  • Available Quantity

Eventixa automatically updates the ticket status based on these settings.

Attendee Information

You can configure whether attendee details are collected during the booking process.

Depending on your setup, attendees may be asked to provide information such as:

  • Full Name
  • Email Address
  • Phone Number
  • Company Name
  • Job Title

This information is stored with the booking for future reference.

Confirmation Email

After a successful booking, Eventixa automatically sends a confirmation email to the attendee.

Depending on your email settings, the email may include:

  • Booking Confirmation
  • Ticket Details
  • QR Code
  • PDF Ticket
  • Invoice (if enabled)

No additional configuration is required unless you want to customize your email templates.

Save Your Changes

After configuring the ticket settings:

  1. Click Save Ticket.
  2. Publish or update the event.

Your ticket settings will take effect immediately.

Best Practices

  • Use descriptive ticket names that attendees can easily understand.
  • Add a short description when offering multiple ticket types.
  • Configure booking limits to prevent bulk purchases.
  • Review ticket availability before publishing your event.
  • Test the booking process to ensure your ticket settings work as expected.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I edit ticket settings after publishing the event?

Yes. You can update ticket settings at any time by editing the event and saving your changes.


Can I hide a ticket without deleting it?

Yes. Hidden tickets remain available in the admin area but are not displayed to attendees on the event page.


Can different tickets have different settings?

Yes. Each ticket has its own independent settings, allowing you to customize availability, booking limits, and other options individually.


Do ticket settings affect existing bookings?

No. Changes to ticket settings apply to future bookings only. Existing bookings remain unchanged unless you manually modify them.
