Creating Tickets

Tickets allow attendees to register or purchase access to your event. Eventixa supports both Free and Paid tickets, giving you complete flexibility when managing event registrations.

Add a Ticket

  1. Go to Eventixa → Events.
  2. Create a new event or edit an existing one.
  3. Scroll to the Tickets & RSVP section.
  4. Click Add Ticket.

A new ticket form will appear.

Choose the Ticket Type

Select the type of ticket you want to create.

Available options include:

  • Free Ticket – Perfect for free events or registrations.
  • Paid Ticket – Sell tickets at a fixed price.
  • RSVP – Allow attendees to reserve a spot without making a payment.

Choose the option that best matches your event.

Ticket Information

Enter the ticket details.

Required information includes:

  • Ticket Name
  • Price (for paid tickets)
  • Description (optional)

Choose a clear and descriptive ticket name so attendees can easily identify it.

Examples:

  • General Admission
  • VIP Pass
  • Early Bird
  • Student Ticket

Ticket Availability

Configure when attendees can purchase or reserve the ticket.

You can specify:

  • Sale Start Date
  • Sale End Date

Outside this period, the ticket will no longer be available.

Ticket Quantity

Specify how many tickets are available.

Configure:

  • Available Quantity
  • Maximum Tickets Per Booking
  • Minimum Tickets Per Booking

These limits help you manage event capacity and prevent overbooking.

Ticket Status

Each ticket automatically displays its availability on the event page.

Depending on the remaining quantity, attendees may see:

  • Available
  • Limited Availability
  • Sold Out

Once the available quantity reaches zero, the ticket is automatically marked as Sold Out.

Save the Ticket

After entering all ticket details:

  1. Click Save or Update.
  2. Publish or update the event.

Your ticket is now available for attendees.

Multiple Ticket Types

You can create multiple ticket types for the same event.

For example:

  • General Admission
  • VIP
  • Early Bird
  • Student
  • Child Ticket

Each ticket can have its own:

  • Price
  • Quantity
  • Sale Period
  • Booking Limits

This allows you to offer different pricing options for the same event.

Ticket Display

Once the event is published, attendees can:

  • View available tickets
  • Select ticket quantities
  • See ticket prices
  • Proceed to checkout or RSVP

The ticket section is displayed on the event page automatically.

  • Use descriptive ticket names.
  • Set realistic ticket quantities to avoid overselling.
  • Configure sale dates before publishing your event.
  • Review ticket prices before making the event live.
  • Use multiple ticket types to offer flexible pricing options.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I create multiple tickets for one event?

Yes. You can add as many ticket types as needed, each with its own price, quantity, and settings.


Can I sell free and paid tickets for the same event?

Yes. Eventixa allows you to combine free, paid, and RSVP tickets within a single event.


What happens when a ticket sells out?

The ticket is automatically marked as Sold Out, and attendees will no longer be able to purchase it.


Can I edit a ticket after publishing the event?

Yes. Open the event, update the ticket information, and save your changes. The updated ticket details will be reflected on the event page.
