Eventixa uses a flexible Email Template system to automatically generate professional emails for customers and administrators. Each email is fully customizable, allowing you to modify the subject, heading, and message content while using dynamic placeholders to insert booking, event, customer, and payment information.
Instead of creating separate emails for every booking, Eventixa uses reusable templates that automatically populate with the correct information when an email is sent.

Template Components
Each email template consists of several configurable sections.
Enable Email
Allows you to enable or disable the email notification.
If disabled, the email will not be sent.
Subject
The subject appears in the recipient’s inbox.
Example:
Your Booking Confirmation – {event_name}
The subject supports placeholders.
Heading
The heading appears at the top of the email.
Example:
Booking Confirmed
This provides a clear title for the notification.
Email Content
The email body contains the main message delivered to the recipient.
You can include:
- Text
- HTML formatting
- Dynamic placeholders
- Summary blocks
Example:
Hello {customer_name},
Thank you for registering for {event_name}.
Your booking number is {booking_number}.
{booking_summary}
Dynamic Placeholders
Placeholders automatically insert booking-specific information into every email.
For example:
Instead of:
Hello John Smith
You write:
Hello {customer_name}
When the email is sent, Eventixa automatically replaces the placeholder with the customer’s actual name.

Best Practices
- Use placeholders instead of manually entering booking information.
- Keep email subjects short and descriptive.
- Include the booking number and event name in customer-facing emails.
- Use Eventixa’s information blocks for consistent formatting instead of recreating tables manually.
- Test each email after making changes to verify placeholder output and layout.
Tips
- Each email template is completely independent, allowing you to customize different notifications without affecting others.
- Dynamic placeholders ensure that every recipient receives personalized information based on their booking.
- HTML information blocks automatically generate professionally formatted booking, event, payment, and customer sections, reducing the need for custom HTML.
- Eventixa Pro expands the template system with additional email types, such as ticket delivery, QR code emails, invoices, reminders, and waitlist notifications, while using the same template editor and placeholder system.
