Venues

Venues help you organize your events by assigning a physical location. Once a venue is created, it can be reused across multiple events, saving time and ensuring consistency.

Create a Venue

1. Go to Eventixa → Venues.
2. Click Add New Venue.
3. Enter the venue information.
4. Click Publish.

Venue Information

When creating a venue, you can add:

• Venue Name
• Address
• City
• State / Province
• Postal Code
• Country
• Google Maps Location
• Description
• Featured Image (optional)

Assign a Venue to an Event

To associate a venue with an event:

1. Open or create an event.
2. Locate the Venue section.
3. Select an existing venue from the dropdown.
4. Save or update the event.

The selected venue will be displayed on the event page.

Edit a Venue

To update a venue:

1. Go to Eventixa → Venues.
2. Click Edit below the desired venue.
3. Make your changes.
4. Click Update.

Any updates will automatically apply to all events using that venue.

Delete a Venue

If a venue is no longer needed:

1. Go to Eventixa → Venues.
2. Hover over the venue.
3. Click Trash.

Deleting a venue does not delete the associated events. You can assign a different venue to those events at any time.

Tips

• Create commonly used venues once and reuse them across multiple events.
• Include a complete address to help attendees find the location easily.
• Verify the Google Maps location for accurate directions.
• Use clear and recognizable venue names for easier management.
