Eventixa allows you to fully customize the email notifications sent to customers and administrators. Every email template can be edited independently, allowing you to modify the subject, heading, and message content while using dynamic placeholders to automatically display booking, customer, event, attendee, and payment information.
The email customization system is designed to let you personalize your communication without modifying any plugin files.

Additional email templates available in: Eventixa Pro
Accessing Email Templates
To customize an email:
- Navigate to Eventixa → Settings → Emails.
- Select the email you want to edit.
- Update the template settings.
- Save your changes.
Each email template has its own settings and content.
What Can Be Customized?
Every email template includes configurable options such as:
- Enable or Disable the email
- Email Subject
- Email Heading
- Email Content
- Dynamic Placeholders
These settings allow you to tailor each notification to your organization’s branding and communication style.
Enabling or Disabling Emails
Each email template includes an Enable Email option.
When enabled:
- The email is automatically sent when its trigger occurs.
When disabled:
- Eventixa does not send that email.
This allows you to control which notifications are delivered without affecting other email templates.
Customizing the Subject
The Subject appears in the recipient’s inbox and should clearly describe the purpose of the email.
Example:
Booking Confirmed – {event_name}
You can use placeholders within the subject to automatically include booking or event information.
Common examples:
Your Tickets for {event_name}
Payment Received – Booking #{booking_number}
Customizing the Heading
The Heading is displayed at the top of the email.
Examples:
Booking Confirmed
Payment Successfully Received
Booking Cancelled
A clear heading helps recipients quickly understand the purpose of the email.
Customizing the Email Content
The email body contains the main message sent to the recipient.
You can include:
- Plain text
- HTML formatting
- Dynamic placeholders
- Eventixa information blocks
Example:
Hello {customer_name},
Thank you for registering for {event_name}.
Your booking has been successfully confirmed.
{booking_summary}
{booking_button}
When the email is sent, Eventixa automatically replaces each placeholder with real booking information.
Using Dynamic Placeholders
Dynamic placeholders automatically insert information from the booking.
For example:
Instead of writing:
Hello John Smith
Use:
Hello {customer_name}
Eventixa replaces the placeholder with the actual customer’s name when the email is generated.
Common placeholder categories include:
- Site
- Booking
- Customer
- Event
- Venue
- Organizer
- Payment
- Attendee
Refer to the Available Placeholders documentation for the complete list.
Using Information Blocks
Eventixa provides pre-built HTML information blocks that automatically generate formatted sections.
Available blocks include:
{booking_summary}{event_information}{customer_information}{payment_summary}{ticket_summary}{order_summary}{booking_details}{booking_button}
These blocks create consistent layouts without requiring custom HTML.
For best results, place each information block on its own line within the email content.
Example Email Template
Example Booking Confirmation template:
Subject
Your Booking for {event_name}
Heading
Booking Confirmed
Content
Hello {customer_name},
Thank you for registering for {event_name}.
Booking Number:
{booking_number}
{booking_summary}
{event_information}
{payment_summary}
{booking_button}
When the email is sent, Eventixa automatically replaces all placeholders with booking-specific information.
HTML Formatting
Email content supports HTML formatting.
You can use standard HTML elements such as:
- Headings
- Paragraphs
- Bold text
- Lists
- Links
- Line breaks
Eventixa combines your content with its email layout to produce a professionally formatted email.
Tip: Use Eventixa’s built-in information blocks whenever possible instead of manually creating tables or layouts.
Branding Your Emails
You can personalize your emails to match your organization’s branding.
Common customizations include:
- Friendly welcome messages
- Company contact information
- Support instructions
- Event-specific information
- Additional registration guidance
For example:
If you have any questions before the event, please contact our support team at support@example.com.
Avoid replacing dynamic placeholders with hard-coded booking information, as placeholders automatically display the correct values for each recipient.
Preview and Testing
After customizing an email template:
- Save your changes.
- Create a test booking.
- Verify that:
- The subject is correct.
- The heading displays properly.
- All placeholders are replaced correctly.
- Information blocks display as expected.
- The email is readable on desktop and mobile devices.
Testing helps ensure attendees receive accurate and professional communications.
Relationship with Other Features
The email customization system is integrated with:
- Booking Management

- Ticket Management
