Page Settings

The Page Settings section allows you to assign the WordPress pages used by Eventixa to display its frontend features. These pages serve as entry points for attendees to browse events, complete bookings, manage their registrations, and access booking information.

Rather than creating custom pages manually for each feature, Eventixa uses dedicated page assignments to ensure that all frontend functionality is displayed in the correct location.

Proper page configuration is essential for a fully functional event platform. If a required page is missing or incorrectly assigned, visitors may not be able to access certain Eventixa features.

Purpose

The Page Settings section enables administrators to:

  • Assign pages used by Eventixa.
  • Connect frontend features with WordPress pages.
  • Control where visitors access Eventixa functionality.
  • Ensure a seamless booking experience.
  • Maintain consistent navigation throughout the website.

These settings provide the foundation for Eventixa’s frontend experience.

Accessing Page Settings

To configure your Eventixa pages:

  1. Log in to your WordPress Administration Dashboard.
  2. Navigate to Eventixa → Settings.
  3. Open the Pages section.
  4. Select the appropriate WordPress page for each feature.
  5. Click Save Changes.

How Page Settings Work

Each Eventixa feature requires a WordPress page where its content can be displayed.

After selecting a page and saving the settings, Eventixa automatically renders the appropriate frontend interface whenever visitors access that page.

Available Page Assignments

Page Settings allow you to assign dedicated pages for the core Eventixa frontend features.

Events Page

The Events Page is the primary destination where visitors can browse your events.

This page typically displays:

  • Event listings
  • Search and filters
  • Categories
  • Upcoming events
  • Event navigation

This is usually the first page visitors interact with when exploring your event platform.

Venues Page

The Venues Page displays all available event venues.

Visitors can:

  • Browse venues
  • View venue information
  • Explore events associated with each venue
  • Access venue-specific event listings

This page helps attendees discover events based on location.

Organizers Page

The Organizers Page displays all event organizers available on your website.

Visitors can:

  • Browse organizers
  • View organizer profiles
  • Explore events hosted by individual organizers

This provides a centralized directory for event organizers.

My Account Page

The My Account Page provides attendees with a personalized dashboard.

Depending on their bookings, attendees can:

  • View upcoming events
  • Access purchased tickets
  • Download invoices
  • Manage bookings
  • Review booking history
  • Access account information

This page becomes available after attendees complete registrations.

Checkout Page

The Checkout Page is where attendees complete their event registrations.

Typical activities include:

  • Reviewing selected tickets
  • Entering attendee information
  • Applying coupon codes
  • Completing payment
  • Confirming the booking

This page is one of the most important components of the booking workflow.

Booking Details Page

The Booking Details Page displays booking confirmation and detailed registration information after a successful booking.

Depending on the booking, attendees may be able to:

  • View booking information
  • Review attendee details
  • Access ticket information
  • Download invoices
  • Download tickets
  • Review payment information

This page serves as the reference page for completed bookings.

Best Practices

  • Assign all required pages immediately after installing Eventixa.
  • Use dedicated WordPress pages for Eventixa features.
  • Avoid adding unrelated content to Eventixa pages.
  • Do not delete pages that are currently assigned in Page Settings.
  • Test every assigned page after saving your configuration.
  • Verify that navigation menus link to the correct Eventixa pages.
  • Review page assignments whenever your website structure changes.

Tips

  • If you rename a WordPress page, there is no need to create a new assignment as long as the page itself remains the same.
  • When creating a new page to replace an existing one, remember to update the corresponding assignment in Page Settings.
  • Always test the complete attendee journey—from browsing events to viewing booking details—after modifying page assignments.
  • Keep page URLs simple and user-friendly to improve navigation and search engine visibility.

Next Steps

After assigning all required pages:

  1. Configure your Display Settings to customize the appearance of these pages.
  2. Configure Email Settings to enable attendee notifications.
  3. Review Payment Settings for paid events.
  4. Test the complete attendee workflow:
    • Browse events
    • View event details
    • Register for an event
    • Complete checkout
    • View booking confirmation
    • Access the My Account page

Completing these steps helps ensure that your Eventixa installation delivers a smooth and consistent experience for both administrators and attendees.

Administrator Recommendation: Before launching your event website, verify that every page assignment is correct and accessible. A properly configured Page Settings section is essential for ensuring that visitors can navigate your event platform without encountering missing pages or broken booking workflows.
